Testimonials

"I can’t tell you how much the Newmarket Recreation Department appreciates all the resources that NCEP has been able to secure to make sure that all children are able to be successful in our summer camp program. By acquiring the Boardmaker software program for the department, we are able to create visual cues and schedules for all of our children to use. NCEP was able to provide some funding to hire one-on-one support for the children who need that extra bit of help, and they also provided us with boxes of sensory toys to have at each of our rec. group's home bases. Their help has been integral in the success of our inclusive efforts, and we are so grateful that we have their support in our endeavors."

Anneliese Fisher, Day Camp Director

"It is not very often that we have the materials in enough quantity to ensure that all of the students in the fourth grade will be able to participate in a learning activity in which all students will learn from each other. The children will be able to use the knowledge they have gained from their books, and apply it to a project of their own choosing."

Katie Wentworth, Fourth Grade Teacher

"he grant we received [to purchase The Great Stone Face Book Series] allowed us to offer a wider assortment of quality literature for our groups from third through fifth grade. We have had some second grade students who were advanced to the point where they were able to participate in the third grade group. This extends their chances of participating an additional year! Many students who were not in the program have also borrowed books from the program. This definitely speaks to the excitement and appreciation of members within the group."

Amy Rocci, Elementary School Enrichment Coordinator

"My students thought it was great that we could take a picture anytime and print it out right then. The immediacy of having a printer dock right in the classroom made the project very meaningful to them. Their excitement about their work definitely increased when they saw the camera out."

Nancy Miller, First & Second Grade Teacher

"Executive Club meeting activities provided students with opportunities to assess their worries and concerns about school, their individual learning styles, and to share them with others. Success generates success and so every success was acknowledged in part and in whole. Having an opportunity to share with others their pride in their successes was as important as the newly acquired skills and strategies that they learned."

Patricia Anderson, Sixth Grade Special Education Teacher
